I have had the Silhouette Cameo for several years and, I’m afraid, I have to confess I have not used it for anything up until now.  In November 2015 I took the opportunity of attending the Silhouette conference near Atlanta.  Other than freezing all weekend I really enjoyed the class and finally have gotten the time to play. This really pretty 1600’s quilt belongs to Carol K. who is making it for a wedding present. I quilted it with an Ann Bright pattern with the word Love scrolled all over the quilt with different fonts…great for a casual wedding quilt to drape over the sofa. Well I’ve finally recouperated from a fantastic retreat. Got lots done and had a ball. Also had way to much Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla! Check out the crew with the fancy cow – all ready for partying. On Wednesday evening we had to have dinner at Goodson’s Cafe in Tomball – well known for their Chicken Fried Steak – and it was “sew” good. Easy Street ready to quilt This was an incredibly fun adventure and I want to thank Bonnie for her generousness.  Easy Street was the first of her quilts I’ve done since discovering Quiltville.com  So much information, so many things to try.  Now, I don’t know if I would have started it if I’d had any idea there were nearly 2500 pieces in the quilt-thank goodness for my Sizzix cutter.  It was a challenge but worth every minute!
